Ugh. I find it hard to keep going reading this book. It has beautiful language but seems to go nowhere. I'm 2/3rds through and still have no connection between all the stories. I want to yell "get on with the story!" I don't know if I can finish it.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I tried to remind myself it is a novel but then I would try to analyze the theology behind it. The theme of surrendering all to God gets complicated by the story.
