Where’s the kink? I’m 28% in and there’s a lot of crying and relationship issues but nothing really kinky.

This book is hilarious. I don't think it's meant to be funny, but it is.

I have mixed feelings. I’m interested enough to continue, but I hope this is going somewhere. Right now it fees a little too much like the diary entries of a college kid.

This book should have been titled On the Millennial Grift. There are plot points that I find hard to believe like a wealthy businessman would take some random bartender chick to live with him in Connecticut/NY and that the chick would fit perfectly into his life. Also, a lone woman working on a boat with a bunch of guys who leave her alone? Yeah, okay.

If this book doesn’t pick up by 20% it’ll be a DNF for me. Right now I’m tired of reading about two high schoolers having sex.

Depressing. I certainly hope things improve for someone in this book.

This book is so crazy. It’s hard to put down. I hope it doesn’t end up being a disappointment.

The British-isms are a minor distraction. Americans don’t “queue” for gas or use “torches” for light. We line up and use flashlights! I do like the characters.

I have no idea what Kiese Laymon is trying to say. The only part of this book so far that I enjoyed was his analysis of The Cosby Show. The rest is just rambling about his weight and how his mother beat him.

This book is great!
