This is starting to get good... :)))

So.... First of all, I'm hooked. Intrigued really. I'm not really happy yet with the current situation of our heroine and the potential love interest; not sure yet whether he's THE ONE or whether he's just there for character development. As hot and brilliant as he may be, atm he's more annoying than Tamlin.
BUT, I've just started and I have a lot of hopes for this book, there being more fire to Auren than I thought

I'm on a roll... Let' see how quickly I finish (or give up on) this one 🤓

YES! I finished this book in light speed. Yes... I was completely hooked.... Yes now I need to re-read FBAA.... That was a good read if you are into all that NA fantasy romance stuff with a female lead that is no damsel in distress and lot's of romantic tension. Besides that, I actually found the plot really interesting (without spoiling) as we learn a bit about the history, primal and gods that existed before FBAA.

So first of all!!! I did not know this was a From Blood and Ash Prequel!!! I was literally SCREAMING inside when I first read the words Maiden and Kiyou wolves like what?? Definitely do not regret this read! And I may have to re-read FBAA after this to see if there are some hidden Easter eggs. Sera is a fighter, impulsive, smart-mouthed... Sounds familiar?
Then there is Ash ✨😏

I've been totally thrown off by Sarah J Maas guys, cause she likes to introduce a love interest but you never know whether said love interest will be endgame or just another conquest lel. And now I start questioning every new male important character that is introduced in this story gahh...
Anyways! Still loving this series

I'm loving this so far 🤓

I did read Shadow & Bone... I wasn't hooked and kept reading for the hype. Then I was spoiled and did not like where the story was headed, so I dropped the series. Then the series came out and I was like hmm.. I enjoyed the series much more than the book... Anywho! Six of Crows! I'm here for Nina and Matthias 🥵 oh and Kaz 🥵 Nvm maybe even more for Inej 🥵

Now this is very "intriguing" (hah.. Casteel...). A YA book that immediately caught my interest

First of all, because someone said, and I quote this: "..this is what Throne of Glass (published seven years after this) should have been." I CANNOT BELIEVE SHE SAID THAT!
I have not yet found a series where the plot supersedes ToG. Did she even read all the books?

Probably the third time I'm reading this book.
The last time must have also been quite a few year ago.
I somehow still enjoy this even though the characters are much younger than me and these days (which I can no linger identify myself with, sadly).
But! It's super interesting because my views have changed or rather broadened and I'm curious to see whether I will judge this book differently

I kinda forgot how awful reading books in German was. I was just going to read it for the nostalgia because the first and last time I read this was over ten year ago but guys... not sure whether the nostalgia can convince me to finish this.

So I have a serious case of post-book depression. After finishing a Crown of Gilded Bones, I managed to temporarily overcome the emptiness by binge-watching Shadow & Bones with Dee yesterday.
On a side note, we execution of book -> Netflix series was marvelous. Props to the producers, writers, and to Leigh Bardugo.

Anywho... back to reading classics... Them emptiness guys... The emptiness...

UGH GUYS... I can already feel the heartbreak creeping up on me. How are we gonna live without Casteel after this series is over? Will I just have to start reading the series from the beginning again? I didn't think I might fall for a character even harder than for Rhys. How?? But then again, Rhys is a different kind of torture.... Already dreading the ending, though I'm barely halfway through.
SOS. . .

Almost done! Always nice reading the same story from the male perspective. Or how I've read somewhere on tiktok, the perspective of a male character, shaped by women. Hah.... Anyway! We'll put this on hold for what???

lel.... book # 2 today... Onto Hades' perspective of the story : A Game of Fate (Hades Saga)
A touch of Darkness was nice. I guess ✨Magic✨ really does make a difference 😂 I liked that the author built a loooot of tension between Hades and Persephone. Ah and it takes place in the present. Cellphones, cabs, night clubs. Loved it 🤝

mhmm. Again light readning. I guess I just can't without ✨magic✨.
A sweet story nonetheless!

ok so I barely started this book out of nowhere because it was within the top 10 of the NA section along with the entire Court of Thorns and Roses Series, as well as From Blood and Ash. AND?!! Let's use Casteel's words: "I am intrigued" 😌 The first chapter made me straight out grin. Let's see where this spontaneous read takes us.

Is there such a thing as "reading too much"?
If so, then to hell with that.

I don't know guys... The reviews seemed so amazing but I'm somehow not hooked yet. will continue next week or so. . . It's all pretty predictable.

🥺 At first I was a bit upset because it ended from Elecia's perspective not giving us too much insight. Aldrick's perspective could have been so much more wholesome in my opinion but it also gave us the sense of a new story beginning.

umm.... let's please not talk about how quickly I finished this book.... But I think that just proves that the Air Awakens Series is well worth 4 stars 😌🤝
