I thought this book was a shocker in the beginning but as I read the book it brought the meaning of family towards the daughter. Cara the girl’s biological mom wanted her daughter to know who her father is. When she realized she was unable to take care of her then she wanted Jack and his wife to take Sophie in. A lot of heart warming moments and some sad moments but in the end it was a great book.

I enjoyed reading this book. I liked that justice was served but not in the traditional way. Lauren is a mama bear when it comes to her daughters and she will do whatever it takes to protect them. After losing her husband and her eldest daughter being kidnapped she is an over protective when it comes to her only remaining child.

I enjoyed this book. I felt the sister’s relationship changed due to their parents’ treatment of them. They have grown up estranged from each other as adults.

Was not interested in the beginning of the book, I read up to chapter 12 and then I finally had an interest in the book.

I thought this was ok was a great read. I enjoyed learning about the history between the two main characters , Lila and Luca. Lila was trying to find out who was behind the stolen artifacts and what the purpose was while Luca only wanted to protect Lila. In the end the good guys and girls came out strong.

This book is a difficult book to read but also interesting to find out what it took for the main character to escape her captor. The author makes me feel the emotion that Charmaine feels as she is reliving her experiences while being held captive for so long.

I’m starting to get bored with this book. I don’t know if I will continue reading it.
