It's been forever since I listened to James Marsters play Harry Dresden on my commute.

I can't remember what it was exactly that turned me off a bit about the series....maybe too many mentions of what every lady looked like??? Or I just got burnt out on wizard stories...

Idk, I'll give another shot thanks to my local library and Libby.

Got sucked in by the trigger warning...can one book really include all of THAT? We shall see!

This tiny book keeps calling me dumb. Words I looked up this go-around:

Transubstantiation (had to see if there were non-Catholic uses of the word)

I am not even halfway through this and I am in awe of how this writer's natural vocabulary rests at the edges of my understanding of English. Here are the words I had to look up:

Cosset

This book is messing me up, I feel very exposed in a way that only American mothers would understand.
