Haven't read any more, but did see a BBC documentary: "Victoria and Albert, The Royal Wedding" a few days ago on my local PBS station. It is a "staging" of the event, meticulously researched by Lucy Worsley, and the attention to detail is remarkable. I'm picking the book back up immediately as the documentary made it come alive for me!
