The commentary on this book so far has been very entertaining to say the least. Perfect balance of a white woman being a product of her upbringing and environment vs. being the problem and upholding the patriarchy.

I haven't read many translated books but this has been super smooth and entertaining so far. The multi-POVs add to the chaos and gives the reader a deeper, more honest understanding on how Japanese women were/are treated in a society that upholds itself with respect and collectivism.

This feels more like young adult than adult contemporary, but I'm still having a fun time with it! It's giving National Treasure + The O.C. vibes and I don't hate it.

I don’t know what S.A. Cosby puts in his books but it looks like a lot like drugs. This man’s writing is so addicting.

Very happy I stuck with this. Slow and kind of annoying beginning but the more the characters chip away at their past and traumas, the more you understand why Andy is the way that she is — which is just a hurt childhood star 😢

Anyone named Thomas Jefferson McIntyre is super sus.
