At some point, can we please get a different female character? The histrionic, screaming woman - it's like reading the same book over and over. Yes, we like that they're not just rolling over for a biker, but when do we get the quiet planner/escape artist? Can we get her? All the screaming and fighting is making me want to side with the biker's violence just so they can be quiet! Shut up! No one can hear you anyway!

Now she's upset because her boyfriend, who is part of a racist biker group, and whom she suspects is racist yet never discusses race with, doesn't understand the nuances of her lightskinned blackness. Keep me near the cross, Lord. This author actually writes really well, and the story would be so much better if it wasn't interjected with foolishness, periodically.

Juliette is exhausting. Why are we still with all the theatrics given the fact that, when she had the opportunity to escape, she decided to run TO Hawk? So why are we still enduring all this banshee nonsense? Girl, hush.

Juliette, come on now. So disappointing. Her being so adamant about getting away from Hunter and then deciding, mid escape, to...go to him??? Literally makes no sense at all. Like forget the character, the story makes no sense. How did she know exactly where he was? How did the bikers track her to him without her saying? This book, for all its issues etc, was actually going well. Much better than Book 1.

I hate when books that I've been enjoying start to get silly. So, Selene's security team has been recalled, and her agents fired, and it doesn't occur to her to tell Beck and Cal? She's just walking around unprotected? Shaw and the other one don't think to get in touch with Beck and Cal and let them know?? In what world does either of these scenarios make any sense?

Nothing about anything has happened between Britt and Jashari leads to understand why she loves him so hard. When did this great wooing take place? Jashari planned one good day date, pretty much said she was his, showed up playing music at her place after he pissed her off, and now basically just orders her about as his lawyer. He was empathetic the night her father was killed but it's not like he was sorry. So...

Britt standing 10 toes down for Jashari who pretty much cheated on her, against her own family, with the family that KILLED HER FATHER is beyond ridic. Annika still being on the custody thing is ugh. Like all these women are working my nerves.

Yeah, I'm with Ash on this. Nate is creating a problem that doesn't exist. He claims Ash is worrying over something that hasn't happened yet, and he's doing the same thing. If the man tells you he's fine, leave it alone! It's like he's pushing Ash to explore so he doesn't feel guilty about doing it himself.

I really hate when authors ruin a good book with silliness. Why on earth would Alex think this is a good plan? Why would Ilya agree to it, like at all? Why wouldn't Alex just call his uncle to see if an aunt/niece exist? What did Ilya and his team spend hours planning if they walked into the simplest of traps and had no plan or exit strategy? I'm so annoyed right now.
