Well, that was a uselessly philosophical chapter.

Half of this chapter reads like Terrence Malick would film it. Too much scenery, not enough action.

I found the “And they walked and they walked and they walked” chapter. 💤

It’s interesting that I’m not that far in and the Kid’s already almost gotten killed twice.

And now Jody Starks has passé Gilbert Osmond as the most abusive husband in this semester’s readings.

Joe Starks is just as bad as Gilbert Osmond. I want Janie to leave this jerk.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this book. I was expecting not to get it with the stream-of-conscious, but so far only Anse is giving me trouble. You just have to change your mindset when reading his parts.

Gilbert Osmond is a 🤬.

Mrs. Touchett and Ralph are growing on me. At least we share the same opinions on... Osmond.😨

I’m more than halfway through this 14-page chapter and NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.

Someone’s trying to play matchmaker. Let’s hope this book picks up the pace a bit.

Our professor recommended we take notes on plot for each chapter in order to help with our final. All I have to say is, “What plot?!”
