DNF. I found the premise of this book very alluring upon hearing about it, so I was incredibly excited to finally read it. There are some authors who can make a simple shopping list enchanting somehow, and Katherine Arden is one of those authors for me. Unfortunately, I’m already halfway through this book and feel like the story still hasn’t taken off. I’m going to put this one back on the shelf for now.
