Excellent read. The chapters are short & told from the perspective of thoughtful, well developed main characters. An easy, interesting read. Not frightful. Told in a roundabout way, adding to the novel’s charm. The mystery is slowly unraveling. Barbara is the second child missing in the deep woods. Her brother disappeared more than a decade previously.
