audibly GASPED at the very end of part 1. i love this series so much and the audiobooks are really well done

this was the reverse of soc where everyone acts 10ish yrs younger than their intended age. plot contrivances aside, if you're ok w its insistence on not taking anything seriously then it's pretty good.

i started this book yesterday and i'm already this far in so giving this anything less than 4 stars would make me feel like a phony

i don't get it. compels me though.

this feels like the author read one too many hate tweets and proceeded to strawman for 300 pages. which, to be fair, is in true twitter discourse fashion.

this book reminds me of naruto shippuden in the sense that for every 2 actual events that happen you get 10 flashbacks to something else that’s barely relevant

i only started reading this bc the premise sounds A LOT like dangan ronpa but uhhhhh some of these characters are so frickin exaggerated and obnoxious, which would be okay in anime (such as dr), but /annoy/ me in the context of a realistic YA mystery lmao

well written, high-tension, intimate scenes that aren’t nsfw (yet, probably)..... BOIIIIIII this book did THAT
