She might as well be my lightning. She is brilliant and bright, flashing across the sky so quickly that if I blink, I'll miss her. I spend the majority of my time learning how not to blink, just to catch a glimpse of her.

For a heartbeat, I wished I had any talent with a paintbrush- just to preserve the moment the god of lightning and storms fell in love with the night.
