He knows how to write an ending.
An interesting take on modern folk horror, with great narration. It would be an good movie. It feels like it was written with 2 or 3 main anchors, so if you feel a lull while reading it is just a transition. How you feel about the characters is really everything but there is someone for everyone. The way he slips in lessons was powerful. But, you still end it wanting more from it.
