This is difficult.....Agree with other reviews have read not sure how going to finish....interesting to learn more about politics generally

*spoiler alert* Am sad one of the mains died can see where the rest of the characters' storylines are headed..
Really want to take a break now, what's keeping me reading the book is Tolstoy's comments and his historical account of the wars between Russia and France.

Enjoyed Anna Karenina lot more Tolstoy did say this book is not a novel. Enjoy parts but its dragging eager to find out what happens to the characters. Really go into characters. Think read somewhere that 1 character has a tragic ending - seems to be his preferred style! Recall seeing the last 5 seconds of the movie with Audrey Hepburn think diff ending and can't remember who man was!

Book having profound effect , only other book that has had similar effect is Reclaim your Heart by Yasmin Mogahed and Love of Allah - Experience the beauty of Salah (this was actually life-changing and was in my cupboard unbeknownst to me for about 10 years unread!), books will come back to again and again praying for writers' blessings.

Don't want this book to end, weird how a book can come into your life at the perfect time, was already incorporating a lot of practices writer talks about in book - gratitude journals, going through 99 names so really nice to have something reaffirm on the right track to getting that closeness to our Creator and sincere worship.
