Can I just say that this book is finally giving me the romance I've been searching for in a book for a while?! Nicholas is really awesome and it is so cool to see the discrimination he faces because I have not read very many novels that address it so frankly. I cheered soooo loud when Etta slapped Wren's uppity face!

Arrgh... Why is this book not working for me? I want to like it so badly but I have to force myself to keep reading. Katsa is doing absolutely nothing for me. The writing is not bad, I just don't think this book is for me. I will wait a little while and see if I can pick it up again. Right now I'm really tempted to drop it.
