Are you kidding me? THIS IS SO GOOD. I’m mad I didn’t read this sooner, though I believe books come into our lives when they are meant to. Dare I say, I think this is easily going to be one of my favorite reads of 2026. It will be hard to top this.

“Then why are you so happy?!”, “I just slept well”, I smile.

Why I’m reading this at nearly 3am, I haven’t a clue and I feel like I’m going to regret it after. I’m already feeling really creeped out. I just couldn’t get past the premise of this book and I can’t stop reading!!!!!!!!!!

I started this and now it’s almost 3am and I cannot stop reading. I wasn’t expecting this. I wasn’t prepared at all

Things are getting crazyyyyy

I wonder how many times the word misandry and misandrist is mentioned in this book. I feel like it’s said every other sentence. It works somehow, though.

The writing is so beautiful it makes me sick. I don’t know how else to explain that at this current moment.

Oh okayyyy I’m sucked in. I want to be a character in this book right now wearing velvet and drinking red wine, running around nyc at night, but I feel that will change very soon….

How does Rachel Harrison write so well that I can’t get enough? This is my fourth book by her so far and I just love her writing, humor and stories.

I went into this book not knowing much about it. I wasn’t able to put it down. I’ve laughed out loud multiple times and cringed like crazy. This book has a lot of dark humor, very graphic and gory so know that if you are sensitive to that type of content. I found this so entertaining, happily surprised to have chosen a random book and have it become one of the most enjoyable I’ve read recently.
