this book is taking forever.

I'm really confused. Who has a Blockbuster membership in 2023? I don't remember anything saying the book took place in not 2022/2023.

The names are so on the nose it's making an otherwise great story a lot less fun.

This book is very slow going so far. I want more information on Mardi Gras now please.

Really enjoying this so far.

Upon my second read, the only thing I can say that stands out more is Jethro is definitely my favorite character in the series.

So far... this is not holding up.

Things are going slow. The last 3 chapters have been the most exciting thing to happen since the first 2...

My favorite thing so far is the ensemble of misfits that Finlay's managed to gather.

Also, I'm so waiting for Nick to rock Steven.

This is one of the slowest books I've read in a while.

Everyone is so annoyingly agreeable that I kind of want to stab my ears out. I've stuck with these books for the audio narration but this is becoming too much.

I feel really bad for Marx. And I'm convinced that Sam's going to die and Sadie's going to ruin everything.

I get this is a regency romance but I was not warned of any DV. I was enjoying it until this point.

I didn't realize this was a second book in a series. But it's bizzare.

I usually hate this trope but I am cackling over Finn and Chandler being stuck in the B&B. I love RLS.
