Interesting history, a little slow

Just started this, didn’t know much about it except they are living thru small pox plague in San Francisco during a heat wave. Think I will like this, another parallel universe

This tale of the Spanish civil war is well written, by Isabel, I have always enjoyed her books.. I think this is the 3rd or 4 th book I’ve read covering this topic as the author weaves their story. Tough times for sure

This is an interesting tale, days of old England,a little mystery, magic and suspense. I’ve never read a book quite like this. (Actually listening to it, while I garden) but definitely liking it.

Hmmm, not sure about this, very intellectually interesting, the back and forth in time is giving clues as to where the story is going. It is overlapping a bit with the other Victorian era book I’ve just finished, a Well behaved Woman. I’ll going to stay with it, as it’s also sort of overlapping with the botany aspect of Kingdom of the Blind.
