I love all the food group books but this one has a good message about screens that I always appreciate reading with my kids

We love this book, we checked it out a few times but got our own copy and it’s just so silly with a good message. My son loves these books so much.

So far this is absolutely delightful.

This has really strong religious overtones. So much so that it has made me personally lose steam reading the series with my kids.

I think this essentially will be kind of like a marketing ploy for the movie like how the books by Richard castle came out with the episodes of castle.
The concept for the movie looks great though! We will see about this book. Spy books aren’t totally my cup of tea usually.

We have read two of the stories so far. My kids love choose your own adventure books and this did not disappoint!

I read this with my 6 year old. He loves that they are a little spooky but mostly silly! He loves the jokes/riddles in the back of the book.

This one had references to Greek, Norse and Polynesian mythology popular stories which was fun.

Really interesting written book. Some parts have been redacted. Sometimes I feel like you have to read the blank but otherwise you read around the redacted blacked out words.

It helped us talk about banned books, what that means. I believe that while not every book is worth reading for lots of different reasons, everyone should have the right to books.

Lol these books are not for me. Why did I try to read another one?

I grabbed this because my kid is obsessed with learning about ancient Egypt. We really enjoyed it

Fun story but we needed more Geronimo!

I’d have to agree, this one was told from the perspective of Creepella von Cacklefur. It was fine , kind of spooky themed book. But we think that we like the Geronimo books

My kids say “Five Stars!”

They liked the nice ending and I liked that the book explained new vocabulary and it was an adventure of a story

We are currently working through classic fables/fairytales and retellings and this was a fun one. It had really fun rhyming and retelling of a classic fable. Loved the older sister pig too!

Wow a lot happened in this book. I kept reading because I simply love Scotland. Parts made me laugh, some made me cry, some parts were brutal but I genuinely admire the character of Claire.

Thinking if I can handle another long read any time soon for book number two.
