I’m enjoying the story so far but her writing style is taking some getting used to. I could do without all the “like” this and “like” that.

Nothing new or Earth shattering yet. Mostly just restating information I’ve learned elsewhere. Not to say it’s not valuable information for those who may not have already been exposed to it.

Yikes! I don’t know a lot about Prince but this experience that she had with him was shocking to hear about.

Magical, whimsical, historical, artsy, mysterious smut. I’m enjoying it so far.

I’m going to DNF this one. I just can’t get into it. I haven’t even bothered to turn it on while I work for the past two days.

Boy did I need this book!

So far it’s just making me feel like I’ve ruined my younger kids lives and somehow also my own even though cell phones came along well after my developmental years. My millennial kids hopefully escaped this terrible fate. Really hoping that there are some ideas about solutions at this point since all my kids (and I!) are grown now.

Abandoned. I’d like to see how it ends but it’s not worth the heavy triggers right now.

The severely alcoholic main character is triggering some childhood trauma. I’ll probably stick it out but it’s worth noting.

I’m so annoyed by this book. The main story is interesting enough that I’ll finish it but I don’t think I can recommend it. Better review when I’m done.

I first read this book 8 years ago and I’ve been told that it’s a different experience now that we’re in a pandemic. Let’s see!

I’m LOVING the narrator for this audiobook. It’s like being told a story versus being read a story.

Is it necessary to cover every conceivable topic in one book? No.
Is it working? I’m undecided at this point.

Struggling to really get this concept but I’m sticking with it to the end. I get what she’s saying but I’m not understanding the actual application.
