I didn’t like it.

An interesting look at Anna of Kleve and much more favorable than the historical judgement on this queen. She was smarter than most in agreeing to step down.

I always like Anne Perry novels, even though the themes are somewhat similar. The characters are always rich and interesting.

I enjoyed this book. Though the topic has been written about over and over, this novel used an interesting episodic structure which devolved into a linear narrative.

Enjoyed it.

Pretty silly.

I like the Cotton Malone books, and this one was very interesting. The mystery around the King assassination has never been solved. His theory added real spice to the book, and he has some historical evidence to support it, though not conclusive.
