Not gonna lie, I did NOT expect to like this book so much. It is getting a bit stale near the end because (being the drama lover I am) not a lot is actually happening. It all feels too…safe. Like I LOVED when she showed up to work late by accident, so intense, but resolved too quickly. I need more of that. More roommate drama!

I’m actually really into this book! And not JUST because I’m moving there soon, it’s actually really interesting and well written.

I found this while researching the island on TikTok because I got a JOB there this summer!!! I’ll be living and working there at a fudge shop this summer, so I’ve been wanting to learn as much as possible before going! It’s already so cute, I can’t wait to finish it.

I am rereading this book for the THIRD TIME WTF lol because I’m moving to an island soon for a job (🤭🤭🤭 ) and am so excited and antsy and was like, I need a book to read about someone moving to an island. What book is that? And thought of this one! It’s still as good as I remember, so sad, and making me more excited!

I’m DNFing this book unfortunately. At least for now.

Such a cute book, I’m loving it, I just wish it wasn’t dual POV! It works, I love being in both their minds, but I hate the miscommunication trope and the fact that we know they both love each other but THEY don’t know and are like, “omg she’s so but I love her but she doesn’t feel the same” while reading how much she loves him is just like 🫩😖😭

This book is really growing on me, it’s so sweet!

Not loving the dual POVs so far, I like when there’s a little mystery like in Better Than the Movies when we didn’t know what Wes was thinking.

This book is LITERALLY INSANE and I love every second of it.

God forbid I skip to the epilogue for a second to just have a small peak, then my kindle mistakes that as my having finished this book like excuse me? No I have not!!

I’m scared that this book is almost over and I’m still so confused 😭 either means shit is gonna hit the fan or it’ll be a stupid and unsatisfying ending.

I’m trying to figure out if we’re supposed to think that the football players accidentally poisoned Logan when they were trying to poison Hadley, or if that’s like a false lead… Maybe this book is just really predictable? We’ll see, safe to say I’m pretty hooked.

How did I JUST FIND OUT AND REALIZE this is basically a sequel to Every Summer After??? We’re following the other brother from that book, Charlie, and get to see Sam and Percy again!!! I’m shooketh idk how I didn’t realize this earlier omg

I'm listening to this on audiobook, and oh my GOD I completely forgot about the part where Jude wants Cardan to seduce Nicasia, and is literally so surprised by her request because of their past that he starts teasing her and kissing her, and says "tell me you hate me" like STOP IT I was listening to this as I was walking through campus AHHH IT was everything

Ok well, because I want to be reading this right now but can't because of...reasons...I was reading through reviews of this book and kind of spoiled it for myself, even though I guess it should have been obvious...but I liked that it wasn't and that it was sort of mysterious for me! Ah well.

I'm really liking this book, the characters are so fun and I love all the drama and fanfiction talk. I wish I had read this when I was still into fanfic, I don't know why I never did because I was aware of this book back when I was still writing it. I still appreciate and understand Cath though, and am very wary of Levi...I know him and Regan aren't technically dating, right? But he's still acting so flirty...

Their mom didn't want to come up with two names for her twins so she named one Cather and the other one Wren 💀 wtf that is actually so stupid 😭 Whenever I read someone say Cather, I think of a catheter. These poor girls got stuck with the stupidest story for a name I've ever heard!
