I'm sorry, Ilona Andrews, I was unfamiliar with your game. This suddenly went from "oh this is fun" to "OMG THIS IS EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED"

So far, just as fun as the first one, if not a little more because I'm well informed on the historical context of this one!!

I can't even begin to describe how much fun I'm having with this. It's only February and this is already in contention to be my favorite book of the year!

I have never been so bored during action scenes. I’m gonna finish this because I paid for this book but I’m not happy about it lol

Making progress but still taking copious, unnecessary notes on this book that's not even canon anymore!

I can't make any progress on this dang book because I keep stopping to take notes LMAO

I've said this about all of these books, but I think this one might be my favorite.

Omfg I love everything about this book and this series so far. New candidate for favorite read of the year coming in at the eleventh hour

“They looked like Horse and Hound magazine had become sentient and started to speak.”

When I say that I cackled at this lol

Idk what it is with this series, but I feel like each book is boring for the first 25-50% and then takes off. So weird

Not suuuper into this so far. Seems like all Amma knows how to do is whine and pout.

I'm so mad at myself for reading this so fast ugghhh

So far, this is my favorite read of the year!!
