I’m loving this book so far! So creepy and atmospheric.

The final paragraph about the Santees ending with Sitting Bull meeting them really gave me chills

"Yes; they fight among themselves, but if you strike at them they will all turn on yo uand devour you and your women and little children just as the locusts in their time fall on the trees and devour all the leaves in one day...You will die like the rabbits when the hungry wolves hunt them in the Hard Moon of January. Ta-oya-te-duta is not a coward; He will die with you." (44)

So far this has been a heartbreaking story documenting the downfalls of many Native American groups during the 1800s. I enjoy the back and forth between the author's narration and the primary sources.

100 pages of extreme boredom and all the action is in the last 10 pages wtf

I'm skimming because it's so boring and repetitive at this point. Ugh.

I really didn't see that coming damn

I'm really loving the quick symbols. However, alot of the parts about the Africans and the attitude of the Europeans are awful, which I obviously should have expected but it's really a slap to the face.

The drawings are amazing and I love how creative the format is once again. I really appreciate these books for making sci fi so interesting for me.

I'm excited to read this. Illuminae was so good. I just hope this one has a little more romance because Illuminae had some but it was in short bursts and Ezra and Kady were apart for most of the book :(

Ok, the queen and Lord Bayar are total snakes and I'm so frustrated that Han and Raisa got separated so quickly. :(

I'm so excited Raisa finally got out of the castle!!

Ohmygoodness...Amon. I was getting so tired of Micahs bs. Amonamonamon

Well its a little slow so far, but I'm looking forward to how this is going to play out and I really want Dancer, Han, and Raisa to meet
