Vijayalakshmi is 13% done with Why I'm No Longer Talking to White People About Race
After Alex Hailey’s Roots that I read in 1998, and Trevor Noah’s Born A Crime that I read earlier this year, I think it is safe to say I will be reading more books written about race and/or racism and the role ‘white people’ played in destabilizing and breaking up societies in Asia and Africa to further their own selfish needs. This book is truly unputdownable.

Ugh. If it wasn’t for Herr Müller’s repeated insistence on the existence of a community of Indians he calls the Aryans of India, as distinct from the original inhabitants of the country, I wouldn’t find it necessary to put down my Kindle and read other books. I’m aiming to finish it before 2021 rolls around, but we’ll see.
