loved the first half of this but i’ve been struggling for the past 150 pages or so bc i couldn’t figure out if we’re supposed to like the mmc or not…. but once i started thinking of him as evil it got way easier to read. gonna be a very interesting book to review loll

I already have 20 highlights and I'm barely a quarter of the way through... tolkien did not have to slay this hard but we should all be glad that he did. icon and legend for good reason

i read this when i was a kid so this is technically a reread!! i remember looving this series so lets hope this holds up
