Nico finally mentions how weird it is that Jimmy is so nonchalant about his daughter’s sex life, he says that his dad is the same way but it’s different when you’re raising sons? This book by far has the most misogynistic comments, even more than the first two in the series. It’s almost incredible… this absolutely is terrible.

Mia’s dad, Jimmy, being so okay with talking about his daughter’s sex life is weird. At one point, Nico is talking from the car speakers about what he’s going to do to Mia, very explicitly sexual, and Jimmy’s just laughing telling Mia not to be embarrassed and that he was surprised that she was still a virgin when she’s only 19 btw.

Mia is 19 and Nico is 29, making the age gap 10 years. While that is a little weird, the main issue is him always mentioning how young she is and treating her like a child!!

They’re about to have sex for the first time and she mentions that she has an IUD to help regulate her period and this guy says ‘I won’t tell you what to do, that’s your decision, but if it we’re up to me, I would want you to get it removed.’?? This isn’t dominance or possessiveness, seriously who writes these books? Why on earth should you want her to get it removed? Shouldn’t even be a discussion!!

With the amount of misogynistic comments in these books, I’m starting to wonder if the author is a man?

Still absolutely hate Howler. His best friends goes to figure stuff out with his baby mamma and he’s angry that Soloman brought her back home? Was he expecting him to just go say hi to Tess and then come back and move on as if she isn’t pregnant? Why is everyone, including Soloman’s family, so against him getting close with Tess or bringing her back home? They are having a child together!!

Why are they always eating in their hotel room when they’re at an all inclusive resort? Ordering room service everyday and now actually cooking in the room? They’ve only gone out like twice, go to one of the million free five star restaurants next door!!

Plus they’re in a five star all-inclusive resort and they only hang out in the hotel room?

How can someone take this much disrespect? Honestly, Tessie is kinda pathetic for taking all this. I don’t think it’s realist. You would report Atlas to HR or even sue him for harassment!! He flew all the way to Mexico to ambush her and force her to work when she’s on her approved holiday!! It’s crazy how she doesn’t fight back until she finally quits after spending days of her holiday working.

Hate the storyline of Erica leaving her son to some guy rather than her own sister..

Still going great.. I’m praying that this is a 4.5 star read, but could this even be a 5 star? Just for the vibes?
