Lastly, every sentence or so starts with a gerund verb. It makes the reading so monotonous and amateurish.

What's up with the extreme use of the gerund? This book is not it for me.

How many times have I been close to dnfing it? Yes.

I love romance but this one is too much. It's dragging a lot and it's quite repetitive with 'I love you', 'I love our life's blah blah blah. I never thought to say I don't believe their romance.

Why don't authors ensure the printed and narrated version of their books actually match?
