This is excellent and entertaining. If a bit overly dramatic on the “does s/he like me?” bits.

This is possibly the best book I’ve read all year. Let see if it holds up to the end.

Did anyone else find the pacing slow? I like the characters a lot but the plot is taking a long time to get anywhere.

I can already tell I’ll love the main character.

Pretty entertaining though the world building keeps dragging me out of the narrative.

Quick read, interesting characters, really hoping the plot is not as predictable as it seems.

I can see all of the flaws in this book but I don’t really care. I just want to spend time in the company of these characters.

I really like the world but I’m finding it hard to connect with the characters through all the world building details. I keep getting distracted by the intricate lore and dropping out of the narrative.

I probably shouldn’t love this book (this series really) as much as I do.

The story is good, the descriptions are dense.

Is this just a You’ve Got Mail rip off? I was enjoying this until the restaurant scene that was an exact replica of the movie scene.

Enjoyable and fast paced but not as deep as the first installment.

I’m struggling a bit with this book. The characters are just now starting to be compelling.

I love how they invent to-go cups and chocolate croissants.

After a slow start, I’m definitely in it now. The last 60 pages flew by.

I’m having a hard time getting into the writing but I really want to like the storyline. My last D&D character was an orc barbarian named Gertrude and she can totally relate to Viv.

Definitely some plot holes but the characters are highly entertaining.

Some of these are more engrossing than others but on the whole I’m appreciating getting a deeper understanding of some of the supporting characters.

I sometimes struggle with staying enraged with short story anthologies but this one has drawn me in.
