What is this book???
Most ridiculous and annoying (dare I say) mafia book ever read. What part of “you are a target” or “you are in danger” does Sonya not get? Girl, you’ve literally had people shoot at you multiple times, and even outright attack you. Yet, you think it is a wise decision to go meet your ex’s wife in her house?? Can she even represent her without breaking some ethical codes?

For a book with such heavy themes, I’m glad that the ending was not rushed. We got to see the main characters reconnect. I honestly loved the side characters too 🥰… except the scum bags from the Mason’s family.

The FMC was so desperate with how she pursued him. NO means NO, I wish authors would stop blurring the lines. If reverse was the case, I don’t think this book would be as liked as it is.
Please when did they fall in love. When they were busy avoiding each other? Miss me with that. They barely communicated about anything. Only when Paige was trying to jump him or talking about the girls.

This book was a 3 star before that ending.
I absolutely despise the miscommunication trope. How do you hear a fragment of a conversation and assume the worst without confronting the situation.
When the mmc said he had no idea why she wouldn’t talk to him, that was so real because I’d be lost too..
Tbh I wish they didn’t end up together because they’d never last. I don’t see this relationship lasting.

This book started off well sincerely, not the best but it was enjoyable and an easy read.
I think the author lost me once they started having sex because that was all they seemed to do after that!! Every. Single. Chapter! Urgghhh

I love smut but please don’t choke me with it. I want to see other things happening not just read about how they keep jumping themselves like rabbits.

I love that this book does not glorify the flaws of the MC but rather makes him work through it. It’s soo beautiful to see as some romantic books today promote toxicity.

OMG!!! I love this book!

I cannot even begin to explain the way it makes me feel. How can all three books in a series be this good?

I think Lauren Asher is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors.
