I like this Holly character!

It’s entertaining so far.

For an epic space opera, the storytelling suffers from the constraint of the narrative voice.

I really can’t shrug off the thought that this series started to go downhill the moment it became almost like a sci-fi derivative of Milton’s Paradise Lost. Oh well. Will still continue because I’m still hoping there’s a twist in the end.

I miss feeling like this over a book. The balance of hard fantasy, philosophy, and romance is something I haven’t consumed lately since I read Sanderson’s Warbreaker. And even that wasn’t as spicy as this. I’m really enjoying it so far.

Wow. This Lemming Paradox is intriguing. Also, the interludes between parts are a nice touch. Makes the narrative feel more “global”.
