love horses, art, and museum collections work, but for all that, not so much enjoying the novel,in part because of the somewhat heavy handed messaging, but also too many narratives.

im not convinced this so far is even about Marlowe. the chap at cambridge called ‘Marlen’ if you allow for variants of spelling , the sound isnt consistent with Marlowe despite all variations of accents, so could be a different person entirely. or if he is ‘Marlyn’ or ? why do we today call him Marlowe? .. or did he later write under a different name than his own? this should be covered at the onset.
