I'm returning this book to the library. I recently read a children's novel about living in the library (The Story Collector). I feel like that book did a much better job of giving the reader an idea of what it was like to live in the library. This one had a lot of promise, but I did not like either of the main characters. And it turned out to be a lesbian love story, which was not what I was expecting when I started.
