DNF. Story had potential, but I couldn’t get past the writing quality.

DNF. Too much of a chore to get into this book. Get to the plot. Strange and random placement of scientific terms. Weird prose. Likely first and last attempt with this new-to-me author.

You know when a book is so good that you can’t put it down? It didn’t happen here. I need to put this book down, place it in my DNF pile, and move on. I did not bond with the characters, setting, dialogue, imagery, etc.
