Very interesting to see the first Poirot book😩

I took a long break because I somehow decided to join ANOTHER book club

I remember really liking this one and as I’m re-reading, I’m remembering all the plot twists and the reveals that all seem to matter so much in the later books

I forgot how harry could never catch a break lol

I’m doing 2 book clubs at the same time so these updates are gonna be a little messy

I haven’t read pure romance in a long time, but I like it so far 🥰

It’s very interesting not getting the story from Poirot’s pov— it makes me feel like I’m missing important details from the conversations that he has when Hastings isn’t around. But it does give the chance to make my own deductions without Poirot’s ideas, so I can see why this may be beneficial

I was wondering for a while “How have I not encountered any racism yet?” But then I got to chapter 18

We haven’t gotten a sel pov in so long im worried 😭

The pace is picking up. I miss having the main trio together but I understand why it has to be this way 😭

Ah I can feel how quickly Ari and Dante are maturing, it’s strange that they’re becoming closer and growing apart at the same time, but I understand how conversations/relationships go down in quantity but up in quality as we grow

To be very honest, I lost the book about a month ago and I still can’t find it. SO I finally cracked and just found it online 🥰

I’m starting to get the sense that this will cause lots of tears 🤡

Idk why I assumed this was a sci-fi book. It is not. BUT I’m enjoying it so far anyway🥰 the writing seems very “boy-ish” so far? But I’m assuming that’s intentional? Maybe?

But seriously the reverse harem subplot needs to chill, it breaks up the story
