I’m really enjoying seeing Ender’s anthropological side— I finally get to understand his thoughts after so much experience and maturity and the lens that he uses for his work. Creating an entire faith out of someone who shares all knowledge of the dead is such a crazy concept but it’s very fitting for him (also I take back my last complaint since Enders a main character now)

I was a little disappointed when I realized it wasn’t a continuation of Enders life, but I really do enjoy learning about how they’re navigating new alien species so we’ll see

Another sci-fi book club 🤩 but this one is actually keeping my attention more than any of the previous ones

I needed something cute before returning to Sci-fi and mystery

I was worried I couldn’t stick with a pure romance book anymore but this one has me 😭 but I love rainbow Rowell so I’m not surprised

Okay the pacing is still really weird, it’s mostly just cataloging ender’s progression? But I do like the blurred lines and parallels between children and adults when it comes to intelligence and emotional maturity

I’ve been slacking bc the pacing feels really slow, but I’m finally beginning to see the big conflict this is leading to

I’m back from my hiatus but anyways, good so far and feels like a typical 80s Sci-fi movie

Hercule’s so annoying like why is he withholding information just for the drama of the reveal

Very interesting to see the first Poirot book😩

I took a long break because I somehow decided to join ANOTHER book club

I remember really liking this one and as I’m re-reading, I’m remembering all the plot twists and the reveals that all seem to matter so much in the later books

I forgot how harry could never catch a break lol

I’m doing 2 book clubs at the same time so these updates are gonna be a little messy

I haven’t read pure romance in a long time, but I like it so far 🥰

It’s very interesting not getting the story from Poirot’s pov— it makes me feel like I’m missing important details from the conversations that he has when Hastings isn’t around. But it does give the chance to make my own deductions without Poirot’s ideas, so I can see why this may be beneficial

I was wondering for a while “How have I not encountered any racism yet?” But then I got to chapter 18

We haven’t gotten a sel pov in so long im worried 😭

The pace is picking up. I miss having the main trio together but I understand why it has to be this way 😭
