Wow! The song that Bilbo is singing is extremely long! It takes up about 3 pages! I bet Bilbo made it up. He is always making up songs like that. The description that is being used for Frodo listening to the music (being played by the elves) is extremely vivid and puts an exact picture of how Frodo is feeling in your head. Its like Frodo is possessed by the music or something! I bet the music would sound enchanting.

The black riders in this book are like Dementors in Harry Potter. They are both dark and both give a scary feeling to anyone that is around them. The only difference is that the black riders can't freeze things like the Dementors. I can't say that the black riders can't give a kiss to suck your soul out because they haven't seen Frodo yet, and I have no idea what they will do with him. Hopefully not anything too bad!

I wonder if the people of Bree will think that the hobbits are awkward. I don't think that they will because there are hobbits in Bree. They might look different, but my guess is that they look the same. I bet what the people of Bree call "The Big Folk" are the creatures that are the most related to humans right now because the book said that they were taller than the hobbits and they wore shoes and everything.

I wonder why Tom and Goldberry let the hobbits stay at their house. Tom just met them in the woods, and he doesn't even know them. I was pretty surprised when the hobbits actually accepted his offer. I wonder why Frodo had such an urge to say goodbye to Goldberry. Maybe it was because he thinks that she's pretty, but I'm pretty sure that there's more than that.

Woah! How did Tom just sing to the tree to make it release Pippin and Merry!? Maybe his kind of people have special control over the trees and they have to sing to the trees to control them. Or maybe, Tom is just a wizard that is in training. That might not be a very good thing because he might be training from a bad wizard! Anyway, I am just glad that Pippin and Merry are safe.

I wonder who that rider on the horse was. I thought that it was kind of weird when the rider was "smelling" for Frodo. He was making a sniffing noise, so I guess he was smelling for Frodo. I wonder if the black rider was one of the men that was possessed by the magic rings. I am really glad that the hobbits thought the rider behind them was Gandalf, or else the black rider might have caught them!

Who was that black rider that Frodo, Sam, Pippin, and Merry saw? I think that it is really weird that Frodo thought that the rider was "smelling" for him. He was making a sniffing noise, so I guess that meant that he was smelling. Maybe the black rider was one of the men that was possessed by the magical ring given to them. I am just glad that the black rider didn't catch the hobbits!

I wonder if the ring that Bilbo passed down to Frodo is dangerous. Gandalf acted like it was extremely evil and that it could take over the world or something like that. Maybe if Gandalf and Frodo looked closely at the ring, there would be a saying or something like that. It could tell how the ring works and if it is dangerous or not. I thought that it was kind of mean when Bilbo fooled all those people at the party!

Why the heck is a moose attacking Brian like that? Maybe the moose saw Brian kill the foolbird. I thought that it was pretty neat when Brian made a fire. Now he can cook all of the food that he needs to cook! I thought that it was kind of weird when Brian said that he was full, but then he said that there was another kind of hunger that he would always have.

I feel so sorry for Brian! It must have been horrible to see his own mother kissing another man. I wonder why he didn't tell his dad right after he saw them. How come when the birds ate the berries, they didn't get sick, but when Brian ate the berries, he got really sick. Maybe it was because he ate the pits, along with the berries, and that might have torn his stomach up.

Wow! I can't imagine having to do your own haircut! Especially with a rusty butter knife! It would be really hard to cut off clumps your hair! Poor Measle! I wonder why Basil lives really poor. He has alot of money from Measle's parents (who were killed.) I wonder if that train set that Basil showed Measel is just up there to taunt Measel. Measel did say that it looked like the best train set in the world!

Woah! It is so epic that the Freeborn squad (which are robots not controlled by Archos) and the Brightboy squad (which is made up of Cormac, Cherrah, Carl, and Leo) teamed up! Who would have ever thought that robots and humans would fight together against Archos! I wonder how the SAP unit and his squad were freeborn. Aren't all robots under Archo's control. Maybe it had something to do with Mathilda!

I doubt it, but it is possible. I thought it was pretty cool that after Pele scored 1000 goals, he made a giant "1000" entirely out of soccer balls.

Why the heck won't the soldiers let Cormac into the refuge camp? How come they'll let Jack (Cormac's older brother) in, but they won't let Cormac? I wonder if Cormac and Jack blew up the National Guard armory. I hope so because there were thousands of robots in there! That would have save millions of lives! I can't believe that Lonnie Wayne just left Lark Iron Cloud in the woods! At least Lark made it back!

I wonder why the yellow spotted lizards haven't killed Zero or Stanley yet. Even if Stanley or Zero haven't moved yet, the yellow spotted lizards should have killed them when they jumped in. Wouldn't that have at least startled the yellow spotted lizards. I wish Stanley had been at Camp Green Lake when his lawyer came. Then he wouldn't be in all this trouble with the yellow spotted lizards.

Why are the other people at Camp Green Lake are so mean? Stanley never did anything! I wonder if they call Camp Green Lake "Camp Green Lake" so the kids who pick it over jail think that it will be fun. I also wonder why the boys have to dig a whole that is five feet wide and five feet deep every day. Maybe Mr. Sir wants to find something that is buried in that area. I doubt that "Mr. Sir" is Mr. Sir's real name.

This book is kind of confusing so far. Why is Richard at a shooting range. Maybe he is meeting somebody there. I wonder if the person he is meeting is Willa, his cousin. Does Richard even have a gun? I think so, but he hasn't been shooting anything yet. Can Richard shoot a pumpkin, and then when the top flies off, can he shoot the top? I don't think so, but somebody else did it, so maybe.

What is that strange music that Bod is hearing? I bet it has something to do with the Macabay. What is the Macabay anyway? I think that it might be a extremely old dance. Mayba even before the Romans! I wonder why Silas acted like he did when Bod asked him what a Macabay was. I don't really get what Silas said about him not being alive or dead. I wonder if the freaky tattooed man is the person that was first buried in the graveyard. If Caius Pompeius doesn't know who he is, he must be extremely old! Is the tattooed man going to kill Scarletta and Bod? I hope not. They are only five! I wonder why Scarletta never asked her mom go see Bod with her. They think that Bod is Scarletta's imaginary friend. I hate it when parents don't believe you about something!

This book is very mysterious so far. I really like the good description the author uses in this book. I thought that it was kind of weird when a couple of ghosts that lived in the graveyard wanted to take care of the baby whos parents got killed. I am also wondering who this Jack character is. I know that he is a muderer/serial killer, but he is hiding something.

It is really interesting to hear another person's opinions on video games. I also think that the author giving a description of some of his favorite video games is really cool too. He is making me feel like I am the character in the video game. I think that it is interesting that the author of this book has spent 200 hours on the game Oblivian. I guess that is understandable because it is an open world game and all.
