Gregor is a really tough kid. After getting his rib cage completely knocked out of place by the Bane he did not return to safety but instead he immediately slashed the Bane's tail off. If I were in this situation i don't think i would be able to do this. I couldn't imagine the pain Gregor was going through after that fight

Trapping Gregor in that cold, dark cell is torture. Not only because he can't see and it's cold but also being unable to go to the hospital to check on Luxa. If Solovet is keeping this secret and no one but the guards watching over Gregor know he is trapped, how is he going to get out? I'm sure some one will soon find Gregor and Solovet will get into a lot of trouble.

I couldn't imagine the thoughts going through Gregor's head after reading that him, the warrior will soon be killed. If I were in this situation I wouldn't even know what I would do. I would feel really scared. If I decided to leave the underland I would let the regailians down but if I stayed I would face sertain death.

One of the reasons I really like reading this book is becasue it's funny and I have no idea what's coming next. I also found myself guessing what wacky thing will come next. For example I guessed that Kantkiss Prin's mom would be really talkative in this book which is the oposite of what she is in The Hunger Games.

I really like reading this book because I am a huge Boston Red Sox fan. I am even learning new things about the team and Babe Ruth for example I didn't even know that Babe was a pitcher and that Banbino means baby in itailian. I can now understand just a little bit more about my favorite team.

Why would anyone ever want to pee on an electric fence? It says that Gary Paulsen and his son both did this. When the author of this story tells about his son coming in after peeing on an electic fence, I first thought like father like son. Then who is crazy enough to pee on an electric fence?

I feel like even though Haymitch is a mentor for Petta and Katniss, he really isn't even helping them at all. If I were Katniss I would atleast try to knock some sense into Haymitch and then he might help me.

I have no idea who will win the games. It all just kind of depends for example, if there aren't any bows, the chances of Katniss winning are very low. If I were in this situation where it all comes down to what weapons are avalible I would be very worried.

Just the thought of going to the reaping with at least the slightest chance of getting picked for the games would really freak me out. Which makes it obvioius how brave Katniss is because in the inside she's kind of scared but she doesn't show it on the outside.

After finding out that Annemarie has epilepsy and what that is, it made me feel lucky that nothing bad like that has happened to me. In this book Annemarie makes it seem like no big deal but I think she's just making it sound like nothing but even she knows it's a big deal.

Wow! After Sal got punched things between Mira and him just went from completely normal to really weird. In one second Sal and Mira were best friends and the next it was like they didn't even know each other. If I were in that situation I would at least try to talk to Sal about what's going on.

In this book I find it hard to understand whether Mira is being sarcastic or not, especiallly when she is talking to her mom. For example, when her mom got home from work Mira said, "Nice tights". I assume that her mom has gotten use to that and can tell when she is being serious or not.

This book reminds me that something little can easily turn into something big. For example when the author was rafting in Minnesota something as small as being attacked by a hatch of deerflies could get them stranded on a river bank with only a box of matches and a sack of potatoes. I couldn't imagine what I would do if I were in that situation.

I think one of the reasons that Gary Paulsen is such a good author is that he has so many wierd and bizarre experiences. Not only has Gary Paulsen seen a plane crash, he has seen mutiple making it obvious why the plane crash scene in Hachet was so realistic and gripping.

I can't believe that random teacher just helped Conner and Risa escape the high school even after she found out that they were both "unwinds".If I were in that situation as a teacher I would turn them in immideately. However, that was smart of her to say "don't tell me your names so I won't be lying when the police officers ask me".

This book keeps slipping stuff past me. For example, when Lev, Risa and Conner where hiding in the girls bathroom at the high school and after the second period, a group of girls came and left. Conner then notices that the last girl has hurried off to class. Later when the book changes characters I realized that what Conner thought was the last girl was really Lev.

These kids who are "Unwinds" are surprising me a lot. If I were in Lev's or Risa's shoes, and someone told me to my face I was going to be unwound, I don't even know what I would do. I would probubly start crying immediately or just go crazy. Lev did exactly what I wouldn't do. Stay calm. He kept telling himself it was for a good cause and that he still loved his parents even after literally giving him to charity.

I can't believe some one would decide to "Unwind" their own kid. If I was bad enough that my parents decided to unwind me, I would do exactly what the kids in this book do. I would run away. Like Conner, if I only had to survive on my own for two years until I turn eightteeen, I think I could manage to survive on my own. Also if things didn't go my way and the juvey police caught me, at least I tried.

Greg needs to make up his mind! does he want a pet or not? At first he was very excited about having Sweetie and couldn't get enough of that dog but now he is always complaining about what the dog does and what he doesn't do. Sweetie gets up too early. Sweetie is too lazy and so on.

I dont think that Greg is being a very good friend to Rowley. Greg is always making fun of Rowley about how he dresses, what he says and is always giving himself the better side of the deal. Even after Greg breaking Rowley's arm Greg doesn't really feel sorry for Rowley.

I think the ranger is going to choose Will. Even though both Will and I don't know that much about the rangers, I know that they are very Stealthy and agile. Horrace is perfect for battleschool. He is strong and tough. Will is very quick and nimble.

Starshade! They have found what they think might cure the whole plague! If I were Hamnet I would feel so excited and relieved. Hamnet could become famous in the Underland. Saving that many lives is a big deal! It would be horrible if this turns out to not actually be the cure for the plague.

I don't blame Ripred for panicking. Gregor and Mange made one stupid mistake and almost got them all killed! Now even worse they have no more water!

Oh my gosh! If I was up face to face with a giant lizard that just ate my sister's toy, I would freak!

Gregor must feel horrible after knowing that his bond, Ares has the plague. If Ares was one of the first to get the plague in Regailia Ares may not have a good chance at living.

Wow, that's awesome! It's all starting to make sense. Gregor is a "rager." That explains what happened with the Blood Balls and the giant squid attack. I am starting to now believe that Gregor could defeat the Bane.

That's so crazy! They expect Gregor to kill a giant white rat called Bane just because he could hit all 15 blood balls. If all this pressure was on me, I would feel horrible.

Why did the roaches have to take Boots? I think if they just asked me to go back to the Underland I would. This way I wouldn't have to worry about Boots vanishing.
