Part 1 moves very slowly - difficult to stay engaged in the story. Part 2 picks up and becomes a lot more interesting

Did not finish. As others have said -not enough action. And the writing feels unnatural and forced to me- trying to hard. Thought I might want to see what happens at the end-but decided I didn't care enough about the characters to keep reading and find out.
