ARC read - kind of not enjoying the premise or the spin on Vampires she did, but hanging in there because I love Alexandra Vasti’s Historical Romances…so we’ll see how long I last.

Ok this book is getting 5 stars…BUT GAH is this book frustrating (but in a good way 😂) The end of every chapter is basically a mini cliffhanger at this point and there are so many twists in the mystery that is woven into this story, Im now at the edge of my seat.

YES! Finally found a book that hooked me! I can already tell Im going to love this one.

I am sadly not enjoying this one. Its a bit of a chore to trudge through , and the insta-infatuation is not a trope i tend to enjoy.

Also, the MMC is a complete cad and I cannot stand him. At least Lisa Kleypas’ rogues have redeemable qualities. This guy has none that I can find.

STRUGGLING through this one 😳 The writing is not great, and we’re just sort of thrown into the world, with little context (probably the point?) but I really am disliking the FMC, and since everything is from
her POV, it’s a challenge.

Probably wont finish this one, Im almost halfway and absolutely nothing has happened. Pretty bored with it 😕

Oye - Ember is trying. And this “parental trauma” trope is waaaaayyy overdone. Also, whoever does Ember’s narration is so dramatic, everything is “dire.”
