I picked this one from the pile when I noticed the recommendation from Tomson HIghway. Before long, I was laughing out loud! It's a tonic for sure.

Started this last night, on loan from Wanda. Hard to put down.

Classic Ondaatje, it's like you're watching the story through curtains of soft billowing gauze. The plot reminded me of putting together a rubic's cube. I listened to it, but know I would have enjoyed reading it more, and may do one day.

I picked this up at the library to listen to on my August trip north, along with Warlight.

Enjoying it as always, yet disappointed with the pervasive rape-and-murder of young/women plot.
