me agrada la elección de protagonista (primera persona observador, a lo gatsby), el tema es que constantemente me estresa no saber si tengo que acordarme de todo el backstory, es más, me olvido del backstory de los personajes y tengo que estar regresando atrás para verificar quiénes son los participantes de cada conversación.
es interesante contrastar esta historia con les misérables.

my favorite part of reading this is saying "gogol, you are so smart and witty" every two pages, which i know (i know authors and their ego) its the only *real* reason he wrote this book.

my second favorite reason is imagining him writing this book as a bsd character (thank you musa, thank you jj)

algunos pasajes son de locura, top tier literatura, y otros me hacen querer sacrificarme en un altar de aburrimiento.

en mi goodreads aparece como si estuviera leyendo tres libros pero eso no es cierto, no estoy leyendo ningún libro consistentemente 😮‍💨 no encuentro el que me atrape. creo que este sería el real (?

lo que creo que va a pasar: se mueren todos menos el nene.

lo que me gustaría que pasara: se muere el nenito antes de la mitad del libro y el papá entra en modo berserk y el resto del libro es él cazando al resto de los personajes.

es interesante pero me está resultando denso y lento 🙃
