This book is life changing, for real

This author uses the sentence structure “Doing a thing like this, subject blankety blank” to a truly excessive and infuriating degree

Just started today after watching a few episodes of the series. The lack of quotation marks is jarring but you get used to it. I like this book as much as you can enjoy something so disturbing. I guess I like the style, the way that she unfolds the world slowly and tosses you into this reality. As a book it disturbs me less than the show does.

Started reading around 8pm. It is 1:25am and I am horrified and deciding if I should try to sleep without finishing or power through and regret it tomorrow.

Help.

Wow Gillian Flynn hooks me every time. This wasn't as good as Gone Girl or as disturbing-great as Sharp Objects, but I enjoyed it. The ending felt a little... I don't know, I wanted something else. But if you liked her others, you'd like this.
