I am loving this book, so I am not sure why I have left unread it for a couple of days. I think that the gist of it is said in the first half of the book, and it is turning a bit repetitive. But I will conclude whether that is true or not soon! Some of the best bits are the brief references and stories to other creatives and authors.

I remember thinking this was such a hard read at 15, and a long one too! I found the text on my Kobo from some exported ebooks I had in Drive, and realised how short it is. The build-up in the first pages, and the framing of a story within a story, is one of my favourite formats. And the way the dialogues imply so much while also alluring to lies and manipulations, is superb.
