I'm not sure why I'm continuing to read this book. It is definitely a disappointment. A good book for me is where I'm empathetic towards the main characters of the book. Tom Ripley and Dickie Greenleaf are characters without moral convictions. Both of them are self-absorbed, selfish individuals. Why was this book so highly rated? And why is Tom Ripley described in the book title as "talented?" I'm clueless.
