First story a la 1001 nights: 9/10

Now, this chapter 16, with the description of social experiments in Cyprus and Ireland is also interesting.

Some action finally and the message of revolution revealed.

Outdated discourse targeted to deceive young minds.

Kind of obvious childish picture of society in a metaphor that shows its aging.

Introducing sex into the plot.

Finished story on the ‘Tower of Babylon’. 8/10 over all. Started as a 10/10. I thought it would go SciFi extraterrestrials…But instead went deeper into a biblical story set up and end up with topology for babies…

Skipped most of chapter 7 about the Indian reservation. It might have been somewhat meaningful at its time, but now it reads so old fashioned reeking socialism.

Childish writing.
Is it to address to young readers to train them early into anti totalitarism?
Isn’t the socialism conducive to that?
