So good!

I'm glad to be finished with this story. Reading about all of these women being hurt or manipulated by one man was depressing. It ends rather abruptly, tying up all of the ends in a too neat bow. I still felt as if problems were left for others to solve, as the female characters were too busy trying to solve their problems ala Lucy and Ethel.

I just finished How High the Moon: A Novel and gave it 5 stars.When was the last time you read a novel written in the voice of a child that was this honest and real?Teaspoon is a combination of worldly and naive as she tries to understand the adult world around her. Optimistic, she reminds the reader of a time of life when you believed any problem could be solved.

I just finished A Study in Darkness: Book Two in The Baskerville Affair and gave it 5 stars.
