Never read Harry Potter but could not resist this illustrated edition. Magical.

I am at about 50% right now and wishing that the author would pick up the pace.

My old friend Jon Recluse liked this one so I will give it a try.

I am giving up. So many people that I respect really enjoyed and were moved by this book but it just wasn’t doing anything for me. I just couldn’t take the story seriously for some reason. I won’t rate it because I didn’t finish it. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from reading this novel. I am just calling it a DNF for me.

Not liking this book very much. I doubt it is going to improve either unless he kills off all of the central characters and replaces them with credible and likeable ones.
