This is irritating the fuck out of me

That cake tasting scene was one of the best scenes that I’ve read in a romance in a WHILE! The tension oh my god!!

“I matched with him on Grindr last night”

So the author has never met a gay man before, got it…you don’t “match” with people on Grindr…this would be an easy fact check

“There was no magic here. No witchcraft. This was as real as it could get.”

This quote makes no sense in the context of the book though, since we know magic IS real. How did no one catch this

I swore years ago I would never read Stephen King again, but here we are.

I *KNOW* this author is fairly young so what do you MEAN he’s having g his young character saying this about Twitter?? If anything it would make more sense for her to have made that comment about Facebook. It’s the small things people…

The world building decision to tie specific clothing/materials to gender, in a way that makes it seem as if the author is trying to portray it as progressive, is certainly a Choice

So she doesn’t know what the word language is but knows what callous means. Right…right…
