What detailed & heavy history. It's hard to remember the dates, intersecting people & places when listening via audiobook but I'm still able to absorb the gist of what happened. Lies & half truths that were told and the land that was stolen including people massacred are weighty while rich with History. Yet it's not too difficult for a person like me who has a difficulty absorbing historical information.

I'm really enjoying this so far there is a lot of scientific jargon which is obviously necessary considering the plot but the author does a good job of presenting it in such a way that I don't get bored or disinterested.

Holding my interest. Nicely picked up where the first book left off without too much deliberate and overdone rehashing of the content of the first.

Simple, while simultaneously powerful and poignant.

Hard to keep reading. Gonna take a break.

I am enjoying the twists and turns of the plot and look forward to seeing how it all plays out. Of course I’m rooting for Alice to find lasting, true love.
